One on One lesson with the instructor for those wanting more individualized instruction

Book now!This is for those who would rather have a private lesson to focus on or improve their riding. Each lesson last an hour and include getting the horse out and ready as well as put away after the ride. If weather is unsafe for riding, horsemanship lesson will be given.
Lessons at S.K. Equine Academy are available Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 AM till 5:00 PM. (Lesson times are subject to change) There are two types of lessons offered, the first of which are standard lessons for ages 6 and up. They last approximately an hour including getting the horse out and ready, as well as properly put away. Monthly lesson packages are available as well as pay as you go. Payment for lessons are due upon booking. If the same day and time is desired for your lesson every week, booking the monthly package is advised so you can schedule a month in advance with what works best for your schedule.

*Help as needed with tacking and un tacking.
*Approximatly 30-40 miniutes of riding instruction. If student can tack up without assistance they may arrive early and spend the full hour in the saddle.
*OR 1 hour horsemanship lesson if weather is not suitable for riding
S.K. Equine Academy is a horsemanship based program. Therefore, lessons do continue even if the weather is not suited for riding (ex: rain, wind, extreme heat) During these times horsemanship lessons are given on the ground either inside the barn or tack room.
The student must give the instructor at least 24 hours if needing to reschedule, except for emergencies or illness. If canceling within the 24 hour window please reach out to Stephanie as soon as possible to advise of your absence. There will be 2 make-up lesson days a month that students can sign up for.
***If 24 hour notice has not been given, the student forfeits the fee for that lesson***
We are unable to give refunds on lesson packages. Packages cannot be rolled over into the following month.
Please Note, if the student misses two consecutive lessons without giving notice to the instructor, we reserve the right to give that lesson time to another student and your missed lessons will be forfeited
