About Us

SK Equine Academy is a comprehensive horsemanship program in Norco, CA. The focus is not just on learning how to ride a horse, but also on all facets of horse care. All lessons are private or semi-private to help riders get more focused attention and instruction.

Horsemanship: what does it mean? Horsemanship is simply the art of training, riding, and caring for horses. What is the importance of this? We as riders do so much more than just climb into a saddle and ride! Due to the fact that we partner with animals weighing over 1,000 lbs, it seems only natural that we learn as much about them as possible. Being able to learn about every aspect of horse care makes you a more effective horse person. This beautiful animal is destined to be a key part of your life for the rest of your life, and it is my goal to prepare you for that love affair. Your goal may be as simple as keeping a companion horse in your backyard, or as ambitious as training to be an Olympic hopeful; the best way to do this is to learn all aspects of horsemanship, not just simply how to ride.

In addition to regular lessons, students will also have the opportunity to see horse training in progress and learn what it is like to teach a horse. If you are intrested in sending your horse to SK Equine Academy for training please reach out to Stephanie via email or phone for current prices and availability.
